On assignment for Forbes Magazine in Pottsville, Pennsylvania I got to spend the day at the oldest brewery in the United States Yuengling Brewery. Owned and operated by Richard Yuengling Jr. the 5th generation since its founding in 1829. I spent a couple hours photographing his daughters and him. Afterwards he and I walked the old beer caves together and we spoke about the history of the company, politics, and then he poured me a black & tan.
